The 2011 Minsterley Show saw many different attractions running throughout the day, both in the main ring and all around the show ground.

The Imps Motorcycle Display Team took centre stage in the main ring following the horse riding and showing events in the morning.  The Grand Parade of winning Horses & Livestock was followed by a Parade of Vintage Tractors and Classic cars and visit by the South Shropshire Hounds and Shropshire Beagles. Later in the afternoon there was a Carnival Float competition, which has proven very popular year on year and is open to all organisations, clubs or individuals.

 

Additional events for Horses and Dogs featured in the smaller rings throughout the day and the Livestock areas gave all a chance to get up close to the animals.

The Village Green has always proven a popular place both for adults and children alike.  This year the crowds were entertained by “Jack the Jester” and also enjoyed all day quad biking, donkey rides, face painting and archery demonstrations from the Shropshire Council Youth bus.

 

Musical entertainment at the Village Green was provided by the “Stiperstones Brass” at regular intervals throughout the afternoon.

 

There was also an Arts and Crafts Marquee, a Food Hall, a Horticulture and Home Marquee and a wide range of trade stands.
